The Whiskey Brothers play bluegrass music!

...and Western Swing....and Tex/Mex....and polka?

Our brand of Bluegrass is a mix of traditional bluegrass, mixed with some Western swing, and our members' encyclopedic knowledge of songs means no reasonable song request will go unplayed. We even surprise ourselves sometimes!

All of the Whiskey Brothers are veterans of the San Francisco Bay Area music scene, and their combined experience means that every Whiskey Brothers show is different, and always fun!

As a recent article said: "These veteran Bay Area musicians know so many songs that they'll entertain just about any 'reasonable' request from the crowd". That's not entirely accurate - we have entertained quite a few unreasonable requests too!

We have a regular gig at the Albatross Pub (1822 San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley, just North of University) on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month, from 9-11PM. The regulars will tell you - you miss even one show, and you'll be sorry! The Whiskey Brothers just might be the ultimate bar band!
